Synopsis: *Knit India Through Literature* is a project by Tamil writer Sivasankari aimed at introducing Indians to each other's cultures and literary traditions. Over several years, she has traveled extensively across the country, exploring various artistic and cultural forms, conducting interviews with notable authors, and researching the literature of different Indian languages. The work includes selected translations that highlight the themes addressed by writers, such as poverty, caste and gender discrimination, modernity, religious fundamentalism, and the erosion of Gandhian values. Sivasankari believes that literature can play a crucial role in transforming societal perspectives and addressing these challenges.
